While working at the Print Shop Williamstown I had the opportunity to independently design, and produce, some fun products.
KitchenWare for all
Working in design and production is an entirely different experience from print or digital design, but I could not be more grateful to have had the chance to do so.
I was able to design some fun mugs, water bottles, coasters, cutting boards, and tasting trays.
The Woodcraft Collection
Learning how to use different methods of print as well as new machinery was one of the highlights of working in the product design industry.
In these projects, I used a combination of laser engraving and UV LED printing. These different machines provided me the chance to learn new production techniques as well as how to design for different types of media. This allowed me to print on virtually anything and opened up a world of opportunity. Combining the laser with the full-color UV LED print created some fun products.
Just for Fun Products
Some products that don’t fit in a collection, but are worth mentioning. I had so much fun designing these items, whether they were UV LED like the Santa tray, Direct to Garment like the jumper, or Print and Cut like the Santa Tags and Decals. This was another use of various machines and file formatting.
